I built a small your year in books web app to create personalized year-in-books summaries for Goodreads and Storygraph users. The app generates a shareable image of your reading year, including highlights like genres, authors, reviews, audiobooks, and ratings. Originally a way to automate my own end-of-year reading visualizations, it grew into a full app in just one week. Built with Next.js and FastAPI and hosted on Render, this passion project challenged me to turn an idea I’d had for years into reality.
